6-6-2008 Due to a busy weekend of racing we have decided to
start RACE REPORT for the the "DREAM" weekend. Please
check back Friday evening for results from qualifying. We are
still waiting on qualifying results from Friday nights time
trials. All cars were able to run the first set of time trials
but due to rain the second set was unable to be completed.
Eldora Speedway officials have decided to go with one set of
time trials only the second set will not be ran. At 11:45A.M. on
Saturday morning it was raining at the speedway please check
back soon for more info. 3:00P.M. - We have received word that
the rain has cleared the Eldora area and that racing should go
as planned. I also know that Donnie will start 12th in the
second heat race. At this time I am not sure his exact
qualifying sport but will bring that information and heat race
results to you as soon as they become available to me.
6-17-08 - After a long delay here is the "DREAM" Race Report.
Donnie started out his first round qualifying with 68th fast.
There may have been room for improvement in round 2 but due to
rain over the speedway Eldora officials did away with round 2
qualifying and went with only one lap of time trials. Now moving
on to heat race action Saturday evening. Donnie would start 12th
in his heat race were he would battle to a 7th place finish.
This was not yet good enough to make it into the big show.
Donnie would start 2nd in the C- Main event and would motor to a
1st place finish. Donnie must still then run the B - Main
event were he would be unable to finish the event and receive a
DNF. This would lead to Donnie not starting the 14th
Annual "DREAM" event. Thank
